iOscars ‘07 at mac.byu.edu/ioscars

Everyone,
This year we want you to give you the opportunity to start filming your iOscars film as soon as possible. The details of this years iOscars contest can be found at http://mac.byu.edu/ioscars. Basically we want to give people a lot of flexibility this year. The theme is “3-The magic number” but you can interpret the theme as loosely as you want. Because this theme is so broad we are not requiring that your film have anything specific in it (i.e. a can of spam like last year), rather you can incorporate the theme into your film any way you want. Again there are no special requirements for this years films, but keep in mind that we will have special prizes for the best use of this years theme and your movie will be much more likely to be shown in the premiere if the judging panel can see some correlation between this years theme and your film, so be creative. Just to give you some ideas for ways to use this years theme, we thought of a few examples:

1. A phrase that is repeated three times in your film
2. Story of a love triangle
3. Triplets
4. Three green VW beetles in your film
5.Three strange coincidences in a day
6. First date with an awkward third wheel.

Be creative and surprise us with interesting uses of the theme, your creativity will be rewarded! Good luck to everyone.
