iPhone - AppleCare Service

Earlier this week I presented the iPhone at the MUG meeting. I do have to say that the AppleCare Service I received on this phone was the best I have ever received.

I want to correct a statement I made in the meeting. A person asked if it kept ALL my iPhone preferences, background, rings, alarms, weather and everything else and I answered no.

However when I got my replacement, everything that I had setup on the AppleCare Service phone, was transfered to my new phone that they replaced. The screen when I first synced said “Restoring Backup”. I was so excited!

I don’t know why my the service phone didn’t restore my backup but I am delighted that my replacement phone did.
