Okay, I need two kinds of volunteers, so bear with me for a second. Of, if you know you just want to volunteer, just email me ( jay.carr@mac.com ).

First, it's high time we got more classes going. We had a whole, I dunno, three or four at the beginning of last semester, and that was it. They were poorly advertised and poorly organized. And I have no one to blame but me... Which is something I hope to remedy :-).

I need people to help me plan and execute these classes. I reeaaalllly want to do them, but I'm currently in the midst of dealing with two major events (Vibe and iOscars), and it difficult to find the time. If you want to be in charge of something in a big club (which, by the way, looks great on a resume), please contact me! Let's get these classes going already...

Second, speaking of those big events... If you haven't heard of Vibe yet go to vibe.byu.edu and check it out. It's going to be a great event. All proceeds will go to funding our club meetings and classes (and possibly CocoaHeads as well, our sister club for Mac Programmers), so it's for a good cause.

Anyway, it's on the 17th of January, and is fast approaching. We're going to need a lot of volunteers to help hand out flyers and man our booth for the next two weeks. If you think you are interested in helping with either of these, please contact me! You do get compensation, by the way, we're having a pizza party for people who volunteer more than once...
